Loopback

Audio from another source, such as a media player can be looped back through the harmonic filter system. Any audio at the output of the computer can be looped back. There will be some delay as the output has to be captured then sampled and input to the equalizer. The capture should have a sample rate of 44100Hz so make sure this is set correctly in Windows sound settings

Sound Settings > Device Properties (under "Output") > Additional Device Properties > Advanced > set the default format to 16 Bit, 44100Hz (CD Quality)

As with the other modes, the pitch can be detected and note EQ applied according to the note detected, or pitch detection can be switched off and the note EQ selected by the tab on the left.

The loopback function can be used to pass the midi audio through the EQ. In this case, the pitch detection from the midi function (detected at the instrument input) is used to select the note bands.
